Lessons Learned: My neighbors are noisy

Earlier this week, I tried out taking my first full exam over at Prepcast. But, the kids are suuuper noisy >.< And I was feeling tired at that time so it really felt like I was sitting for an exam and soo tired!  But, I retook the exam this week and my fist PMP exam is 76.5%, which has an AT/AT/ AT/T/AT result. Not bad. :) But I think what helped is that: - I started my exam earlier in the night (around 5:30 PM instead of 7 PM). Right now it's 8 PM and the girls outside are suppper noisy. Good thing I'm done with my studying. - I'm in a better state today physically. Let's just hope I can sustain this. I think I'm still on track to take the PMP exam this year.

Moving on and gaining velocity

As of now, I'm back to studying for the PMP Exam. Yesterday, I tried doing the simulation exam from Prepcast (yes! I finally got Prepcast!) and my neighbors are so noisy and I was quite tired so I ended it at 120 instead of 200. So I technically got 89/120 which is...74%. I wonder if that would be enough for me to pass my PMP. Hopefully soon I would be able to sit properly for an exam simulation soon. When it's all quiet...haaaahhhhh

Sinusoidal Wave

Coming from a high last month of thinking that I am getting myself together with everything, I suddenly had a pretty bad melt down. It's really getting worse and worse as they years go by.  I think  it has something to do with hormones... So coming back from the trough of the sinusoidal wave, I have decided to pick myself up again and really push with this goal that I had in mind. Donc (hello my French!), I have decided to push with my exam next month (December). Yesterday, I have set my baseline using the PMI PMP Practice exam and I got 65.5%. I think I need to read a bit more of the PMBOK towards execution, monitoring and control, and closing processes. Based on my performance, I was getting confused between Stakeholder Engagement and Communications Management. Plus a little bit more in between of what to do...so I need to really pay attention to the words carefully.  So I'm going to sign up for Prepcast this weekend so I can practice for quizzes. Plus read the PM...
